It is possible to add discount offers for a restaurant using our professional and easy to use dashboard. This includes fixed and percentage off discount offers. The dashboard also allows you to apply minimum order values and promotion periods for your discounts.

All restaurants have the option to offer delivery and collection services, and these can be switched on or off as required by the restaurant through the dashboard.

Restaurants will enter an average time to prepare an order and assign an exact time upon their acceptance of an incoming order. The system will calculate the delivery time based on driver availability, order volume, and travel distance.

Restaurants have the capability to amend a delivery time if an order is placed during a busy period such as peak hours or weekends. An order can be moved forward to accommodate for this and customers will always be kept updated with changes.

Customers may cancel an order until the restaurant begins preparing the order. After the restaurant begins to prepare the order, whether to cancel will be at the restaurants discretion.

To place an order through the Takeaway Eat portal, customers certify that they are at least 18 years of age.

In addition, the dashboard lets restaurants flag any age restricted item. Order receipts highlight age restricted items, so a request can be made for proof of age by the restaurant upon delivery or collection of an order. Delivery orders must only be delivered to an address from the order receipt. Identification used for proof of age should be in the name of the specified person from the receipt.
